Scott Price, the owner of Colton Builders, Inc. comes from a family of builders and became involved in the construction industry at an early age. He learned the trade from his Grandfather who was heavily involved in the development of Charlotte's early center city. He continued gaining experience during high school and college by working for other builders.

By 1994, Scott had started his own construction company and began framing houses for other builders. In 1999, carrying on a family tradition spanning more than sixty years, Colton Builders, Inc. was created. Scott's "hands on" approach to building continues today. He is more than the builder and contractor; he is the carpenter who constructs the actual framework of each home. This extraordinary level of involvement ensures each home exceeds all codes and expectations.
